About Klimato

Klimato delivers world-leading food climate data, powered by industry expertise. Our goal is to become the trusted data foundation for climate decisions across the global food system. We work with brands such as Accor, Hilton, Radisson, Compass Group and Quorn.

We're a small, fast-moving team building on AWS in a TypeScript monorepo. We're AI-first, but not naive about it. We use Claude and Cursor daily, and we know where AI fails.

What you'll do

  • Build our data platform end to end: customer portal, API extensions and a partner integration platform.
  • Make automatic mapping really good: LLMs and ML where data is ambiguous, deterministic rules where correctness matters, plus evals and human review.
  • Lay the groundwork for AI-assisted analysis customers can trust and trace.
  • Make CI/CD fast and safe so we can ship several times a day.
  • Keep things current: upgrades and infrastructure-as-code in sync with reality.
  • Push for valuable refactoring, with evidence, in incremental steps.

What we'd love to see

  • Senior TypeScript: React/Vue and Node.js (NestJS/Express), plus Python for data and AI
  • REST APIs with OpenAPI, auth (sessions, API keys, OAuth), Redis and queues
  • Data pipelines with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, focused on quality and auditability
  • AWS: ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, IAM
  • GitHub Actions optimisation and hands-on security practice
  • Production LLM features and a solid grasp of traditional ML

Dream candidate bonus
